PHOTO WORKSHOP
'Quebec Tour'
July 1 to 11 2024

After years of exploring Quebec, I found the perfect itinerary to photograph the best of our beautiful province. We will first follow the Saint-Lawrence from Quebec to Gaspésie, making a stop at Bas-Saint-Laurent. Then, we will take the ferry to discover the jewels of the Côte-Nord. Then, we will go back down to Quebec, stopping at Tadoussac for whale watching. Come with me to discover the exceptional wildlife and magnificent landscapes of our beautiful Quebec!

Bas-Saint-Laurent

Our first stop will be in Bas-Saint-Laurent where we will explore Bic National Park. It is by far one of the best places in Quebec for observing white-tailed deer, common eider, snowshoe hare and more! In addition to this abundant fauna, its magnificent coastal landscapes leave no one indifferent.

Gapésie

Then, we will have the chance to visit the Gaspésie National Park where there is a high density of moose as well as the highest mountains in southern Quebec. Then, head for Forillon National Park. With its steep cliffs, this park has breathtaking landscapes. Birds, marine & land mammals will be there. Finally, we will visit Percé as well as Bonaventure Island and its famous colony of northern gannets.

Côte-Nord

We will then cross the St. Lawrence to reach the Côte-Nord. In Minganie, we will visit the Archipel-de-Mingan National Park which protects more than a thousand islands and islets in which seabirds live. The star of the place is undoubtedly the Atlantic puffin, but the little penguins and the guillemots do not leave their place either! We will have the chance to sleep just a few meters from these thousands of seabirds. On land, peat bogs that stretch as far as the eye can see serve as nesting grounds for some particularly interesting northern species, including the red-throated loon and the greater yellowlegs. Finally, on the way back, we will stop in Tadoussac for a private zodiac outing to go whale and seal watching.
